Daniel has twelve years of experience in the non-profit sector, including nine years with the Developmental Pathways family of companies. As the Director of Staff Development and Training, Daniel oversees employee onboarding training, leadership & management development, evaluation/assessment administration, and other talent management functions. Over the last twelve years, Daniel has spent three years providing direct support to individuals with disabilities, just under two years in business analytics/project management, and seven years in training and development. Daniel’s unique background in both the program and business aspects of non-profit administration has equipped him to model and implement ‘business with a heart’ talent management practices. Daniel holds a B.A. in Psychology from Cornell College.
Lauren joined the NMSC team in November 2015 and has the pleasure of managing internal projects that impact a variety of departments across the organization. She brings in three years of experience in working with the population of individuals with developmental disabilities/delays; from supervising a residential group home to then leading a training program for new supervisors. Lauren also has knowledge in brokerage asset transfers, international exporting, and market research while working for Charles Schwab and the U.S. International Trade Administration. She earned her B.S. in International Business at Florida State University and completed additional post-graduate coursework in Industrial/Organizational Psychology.
John M. Gatewood
John joined the NMSC team as a Project Manager in 2017. Prior to arriving at NMSC, John spent five years in the United States Navy where he developed skills in strategic planning, process improvement, and project management while working at a military hospital in Rota, Spain. Most recently, John worked as an Associate Attorney at a 50-year-old Colorado-based law firm where he gained experience in commercial law, employment law, transactional law, and regulatory compliance. In his legal work, John refined his strategic planning and project management skills while collaborating with clients to develop and execute outcome-focused solutions designed to satisfy complex legal and business needs. At NMSC, John collaborates with business leaders to develop and execute plans that bring great ideas to life in order to support and empower community organizations. John holds a J.D. from the University of Denver, an M.B.A. from the University of Massachusetts, and a B.S. in Psychology from the University of Maryland.
